Overview

Manage your marketing budget where your team already works. Chat with AI Budget Buddy directly in Microsoft Teams — @mention the bot in a channel or send it a direct message to get instant answers about your budget. Get monthly reminders for line items that need actuals and update them with a single click. No more switching between apps or missing important updates.

How it works

At the start of each month, you'll receive personalized Teams messages for any line items that need actuals to be updated. Each card includes essential information like the line item name, budget category, and planned amount.

Updating is simple — just click the "Update Actual" button on the card, enter the actual amount in the dialog, and you're done. Changes are instantly reflected in your budget, keeping everything in sync.

@mention Etropo in any channel or message the bot directly to chat with AI Budget Buddy. Ask how much budget is left in a category, what changed this month, or where you're trending over — and get answers grounded in your live budget data.

Tell the bot what to remember and it captures the knowledge into Marketing Brain — Etropo's free, living marketing knowledge base. A new learning, a campaign result, a fresh detail from your team: mention it in the conversation and the Brain stays up to date — ready for Budget Buddy and any AI you connect.

Configure

An admin connects Microsoft Teams from the Integrations tab and adds the Etropo app to your Teams workspace. Then each teammate links their Microsoft account from the Notifications tab and sends the bot a quick hello. The integration respects your organization's permissions — users can only view and update line items they've been assigned to.
