Overview
With the integration between Etropo and Google Sheets, you can automatically sync your marketing budget data to Google Sheets. Each connected budget creates a dedicated spreadsheet with three tabs: Plans, Actuals, and Combined data. The integration supports both manual synchronization and automated daily syncing.
How it works
Each connected budget creates a Google Spreadsheet with three tabs: Plans Sheet (planned budget amounts by month), Actuals Sheet (actual spend amounts from integrations and manual entries), and Combined Sheet (side-by-side comparison with plan and actual columns for variance analysis).
The integration automatically syncs your budget data daily. You can also trigger a manual sync with a single button click. Both planned budget amounts and actual spend are synced.
Each sheet includes columns: Category, Line Item, Cost Center, Owner, Currency, and monthly data for your entire budget period. The Combined Sheet provides quick variance analysis with plan and actual spend columns for each month.
Configure
Setup is simple. Navigate to the Integrations Tab, click "Connect" on the Google Sheets card, and authorize access to your Google account. Select the budget version you want to connect, and a new Google Sheet will be automatically created with your budget data.
