# Marketing Conferences 2027: The Complete Global List

> The complete global list of marketing conferences for 2027, curated by marketers: confirmed dates, real ticket prices, and what each event is actually worth.

Curated by marketers who plan and defend conference budgets for a living, and checked against each organiser's own site rather than against other people's roundups. Compare dates, cities, ticket prices, audience size and format across every major event from now through the end of 2027 — then see what each one really costs once flights and hotels are counted.

**Last updated:** 2026-08-03
**Coverage window:** 2026-08-03 to 2027-12-31
**Conferences listed:** 66 (61 with organiser-confirmed dates)

## Key facts

- This list covers 66 marketing conferences running between 2026-08-03 and 2027-12-31, across 12 countries and 12 categories.
- 61 of the 66 have day-level dates officially published by the organiser. The rest are annual events whose next edition is not yet announced; their expected month is given but never presented as a booked date.
- Ticket prices run from free to $5,999. The median entry-level ticket is $680.
- 8 of these conferences have a free tier or are free outright: brightonSEO, Litmus Live, Google Marketing Live, The MarTech Conference, NRF Retail's Big Show, Search Central Live Deep Dive Europe, Shoptalk Fall, CommerceNext Growth Show.
- Budget roughly 2–3x the ticket price for the all-in cost of a US domestic conference once flights, hotel, meals and ground transport are included, and 3–4x for an intercontinental trip.

## How this list is curated

This list is maintained by the marketing team at Etropo. Every entry is verified against the organiser's own website — not against other listicles, which recycle each other's mistakes and routinely invent dates for events that no longer exist. When an event is discontinued or has gone quiet, we take it off and say why, rather than leaving a dead listing behind to pad the count.

An event is included only if:

- It has a real track record — several prior editions, or a first edition run by an established organiser.
- Its next edition is either officially dated by the organiser, or it is a reliably annual event whose month we can state honestly as an expectation.
- Ticket prices are published, genuinely free, or deliberately invite-only — and we say which, rather than quoting a number nobody published.
- It is useful to someone who owns a marketing budget, not a general tech conference with one marketing track bolted on.

We leave out:

- Pay-to-speak events, where slots on the agenda are sold rather than curated.
- Series whose own site contradicts itself on venues, cities or dates — a sign the calendar is templated years ahead rather than actually contracted.
- Events with no verifiable previous edition, or no identifiable organiser behind the ticketing page.
- Anything whose dates we could only find on somebody else's roundup.

Dates carry one of two labels. **Confirmed** means the organiser has published day-level dates on
their own site and we read them there. **Expected** means the event is still running but has not
announced its next edition, so we give the month its recent editions have landed in and say plainly
that it is not booked. We never publish a specific day we have not seen the organiser publish.

## Conferences by category

### General Marketing

#### SXSW

The convergence of tech, film, music, and culture. The Brand & Marketing Track covers brand strategy, experiential marketing, and the creator economy across 850+ sessions.

- **When:**
  - 15–21 March 2027 — Austin, USA (Venues across downtown Austin)
  - SXSW London: Expected June 2027 — London, UK — not yet officially announced
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — 2027 badge pricing was not published as of August 2026 — registration opened 18 August 2026, with a 10% early-signup discount. The 2026 cycle ran roughly $820–$1,995.
- **Attendance:** Not published (850+ conference sessions)
- **Best for:** Brand marketers, experiential marketers, and culture-forward teams
- **Official site:** https://www.sxsw.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SXSW isn't a "marketing conference" in the traditional sense - it's where marketing meets culture. The Brand & Marketing track is excellent, but the real value is cross-pollination: seeing what's happening in tech, film, and music that will shape consumer behaviour. Best for brand marketers who need to think beyond the funnel. The badge is only the start of the cost - Austin hotel prices spike three to four times during SXSW, so budget $3,000-$5,000 all-in even for a mid-tier badge.

**What stands out:**
  - 850+ conference sessions spanning tech, marketing, and culture
  - Brand & Marketing Track dedicated to marketing leaders
  - Massive networking across industries - not just marketing

#### ANA Masters of Marketing

The premiere CMO-level marketing conference in the US, bringing together senior marketing leaders from Fortune 500 companies for strategic discussions on brand growth and measurement.

- **When:**
  - 20–23 October 2026 — Orlando, USA (Rosen Shingle Creek)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $2,199–$3,499 — Free for ANA client-side member marketers. Otherwise $2,199 (Platinum) to $3,299 (non-member), rising to $3,499 late.
- **Attendance:** Not published by ANA
- **Best for:** CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and senior brand-side marketers
- **Official site:** https://www.ana.net/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** This is the conference where CMOs talk to CMOs. If you're a senior marketing leader at a major brand, this is the one event where you'll be surrounded by peers at your level. The content is strategic, not tactical - expect discussions about measurement, brand building versus performance, and organisational design. The pricing detail worth knowing: it is free for client-side marketers at ANA member companies, which makes it one of the highest-value events on this list if your company is already a member. Not worth the investment if you want hands-on workshops or tactical skills.

**What stands out:**
  - Fortune 500 CMO keynotes and fireside chats
  - Most senior brand-side marketing audience in the US
  - Free to attend for client-side marketers at ANA member companies

#### POSSIBLE

A rapidly growing "Cannes of the US" event with a dual-campus oceanside format. Strong focus on brand marketing, creator economy, and experiential activations. Launching a European edition in Lisbon in 2027.

- **When:**
  - 5–7 April 2027 — Miami Beach, USA (Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Eden Roc Miami Beach (dual campus))
  - POSSIBLE Europe, inaugural edition: 12–14 October 2027 — Lisbon, Portugal (Carlos Lopes Pavilion)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $2,850–$5,999 — 2026-cycle pricing; 2027 tiers not yet published. Brand marketers may qualify for complimentary passes.
- **Attendance:** 5,400
- **Best for:** Brand marketers and creative leaders looking for a US alternative to Cannes
- **Official site:** https://possibleevent.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** POSSIBLE positions itself as the accessible version of Cannes Lions for the US market. It launched in 2023 and has grown fast - from 2,500 attendees to 5,400. The oceanside dual-campus format creates a festival atmosphere. The real value proposition: brand-side marketers can often get complimentary passes, which changes the maths entirely. New for 2027 is POSSIBLE Europe in Lisbon, the first edition outside Miami. Factor in Miami Beach hotel costs of $400-$600/night when budgeting the US event.

**What stands out:**
  - Dual-campus oceanside format at Fontainebleau & Eden Roc
  - Strong creator economy and experiential content
  - Inaugural POSSIBLE Europe lands in Lisbon in October 2027

#### Festival of Marketing

Marketing Week's flagship one-day conference for senior UK marketers, with an editorial rather than vendor-driven agenda. Strong focus on brand building, effectiveness, and measurement.

- **When:**
  - 14 October 2026 — London, UK (The Brewery, 52 Chiswell Street)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Marketing Week publishes tier structure (Early Bird, Standard, VIP) but no public rate card.
- **Attendance:** ~2,000 senior marketers, 100+ speakers
- **Best for:** Senior UK marketers focused on brand strategy, effectiveness, and measurement
- **Official site:** https://www.marketingweek.com/festival-of-marketing/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Festival of Marketing carries the credibility of Marketing Week, which means the agenda is editorially curated rather than sold. The content skews strategic: brand building versus performance, measurement frameworks, and organisational design. It is a single-day event at The Brewery in London, and that is a strength - concentrated value without the padding that affects longer conferences. Marketing Week publishes the tier structure (Early Bird, Standard, VIP) but not a public rate card, so you will need to request pricing. The London location makes it accessible from anywhere in Europe as a day trip.

**What stands out:**
  - Run by Marketing Week - one of Europe's most respected marketing publications
  - Editorially curated agenda, not pay-to-play
  - Single day, concentrated - no filler days

#### Web Summit

One of the world's largest tech conferences with a dedicated marketing summit - PandaConf - covering brand strategy, creative, performance marketing, and the intersection of tech and marketing. Now runs four editions across four continents.

- **When:**
  - 9–12 November 2026 — Lisbon, Portugal (MEO Arena and FIL, Parque das Nações)
  - Web Summit Qatar: 31 January – 3 February 2027 — Doha, Qatar (Doha Exhibition and Convention Center)
  - Web Summit Vancouver: 25–28 May 2027 — Vancouver, Canada (Vancouver Convention Centre)
  - Web Summit Rio: 14–17 June 2027 — Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Riocentro)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €630–€1,950 — Attendee tiers: General €775 (€630 excl. tax, list €1,595), VIP €1,950. Partner and investor packages run far higher.
- **Attendance:** 71,386 (Lisbon 2025)
- **Best for:** Tech-forward marketers who want cross-industry exposure beyond the marketing bubble
- **Official site:** https://websummit.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Web Summit isn't a marketing conference - it's a tech mega-event with a serious marketing track (PandaConf). The value is cross-pollination: you'll see what's happening in AI, fintech and hardware that will shape consumer behaviour before it reaches the marketing press. At 70,000+ attendees the serendipitous networking is unmatched, but you need a plan or you will drown. Note that Web Summit now runs four editions a year across four continents, so Lisbon is not the only option. Lisbon in November is pleasant and the city is significantly cheaper for hotels than London or Paris at EUR 150-250/night. Budget EUR 2,000-3,000 all-in.

**What stands out:**
  - PandaConf: dedicated marketing and advertising summit within Web Summit
  - 71,386 attendees in Lisbon 2025 - unmatched networking scale
  - Four editions a year: Lisbon, Doha, Vancouver, and Rio

#### HUBFORUM Paris

The French CMO-level marketing conference, run by the HUB Institute think tank since 2011. One day in central Paris covering brand strategy, martech, and marketing effectiveness.

- **When:**
  - 30 September 2026 — Paris, France (Comet Bourse)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €599–€599 — Flat €599 including VAT for the full day. Free for HUB Institute member companies within their place quota.
- **Attendance:** ~106 speakers
- **Best for:** French and francophone marketing leaders working on brand and martech strategy
- **Official site:** https://paris.hubforum.com/en
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SMX Paris covers the technical search side of the French market; HUBFORUM covers everything else. It is the event a French CMO names first - brand strategy, martech architecture and marketing effectiveness, run by the HUB Institute, which is a genuine research and training body rather than a white-label event operator. The one-day format in central Paris makes it a realistic day trip from most of Western Europe, and the flat price includes VAT with no tier games. If your company is a HUB Institute member, check your place quota before buying.

**What stands out:**
  - Run by HUB Institute - a research body, not an events company
  - Around 100 speakers in a single concentrated day
  - Free for HUB Institute member companies within their quota

#### Marketing Festival

Central and Eastern Europe's flagship marketing conference, running since 2013. Built on flying in a small number of high-calibre international speakers rather than filling a broad agenda.

- **When:**
  - 20–21 April 2027 — Brno, Czech Republic
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — 2027 tickets are not on sale yet — the site offers only a notify-me signup.
- **Attendance:** 11th edition
- **Best for:** Marketers in Central and Eastern Europe who want international-calibre speakers locally
- **Official site:** https://www.marketingfestival.cz/en
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Marketing Festival has a long-standing reputation as the best-curated marketing conference in Central and Eastern Europe, built on a deliberate strategy of flying in a handful of genuinely excellent international speakers rather than assembling a sprawling agenda. Eleven editions in, that curation is the product. For teams in the region it removes a transatlantic flight from the equation entirely; for everyone else, Brno is cheap to visit. One planning caveat: 2027 tickets were not on sale as of August 2026 and the site offers only a notify-me signup, so there is no price to budget against yet.

**What stands out:**
  - Ten completed editions with a consistent organiser
  - Curation-first: few speakers, chosen for calibre
  - The anchor marketing event for the CEE region

### Digital Marketing

#### OMR Festival

Europe's largest digital marketing festival. A multi-day mega-event combining conference content, a massive expo with 1,000+ exhibitors, masterclasses, and live entertainment. Often called "the SXSW of marketing."

- **When:**
  - 3–5 May 2027 — Hamburg, Germany (Hamburg Messe)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €499–€1,999 — Festival Pass €499 super early bird (€649 regular); Black Pass €1,999 with guaranteed masterclass seats.
- **Attendance:** 70,000
- **Best for:** Digital marketers, martech professionals, and growth leaders across Europe
- **Official site:** https://omr.com/en/events/festival/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** OMR Festival is Europe's answer to SXSW for marketers - massive scale, festival energy, and genuinely strong content. The speaker lineup regularly features global names from Google, Meta and OpenAI alongside European marketing leaders. The expo floor with 1,000+ exhibitors is the most efficient way to evaluate martech tools in Europe. Pricing is tiered by access level, with the Black Pass buying guaranteed masterclass seats rather than just a better view. Hamburg is well connected by air from anywhere in Europe and hotel costs are moderate at EUR 120-200/night. The vibe is younger and more energetic than DMEXCO - think festival, not trade show.

**What stands out:**
  - Europe's largest digital marketing event (70,000 attendees, 800+ speakers)
  - 1,000+ exhibitors - the most efficient martech scouting in Europe
  - Festival atmosphere with live entertainment alongside serious content

#### DMEXCO

Europe's leading digital marketing and tech event with 700+ partner companies and 1,000+ speakers. Massive expo covering online marketing, e-commerce, social media, AI, and platforms.

- **When:**
  - 23–24 September 2026 — Cologne, Germany (Koelnmesse)
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** €29–€299 — Standard €299; Young Leader (under 26) €69; Student €29.
- **Attendance:** ~40,000
- **Best for:** European digital marketers and AdTech professionals
- **Official site:** https://dmexco.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** If you're marketing in Europe, DMEXCO is the one event that covers the full digital landscape. The expo floor alone is worth the trip - 700+ vendors in one place makes tool evaluation genuinely efficient. At around 40,000 visitors it is massive, which means great serendipitous networking but a real risk of overwhelm without a plan. The striking thing about DMEXCO is the price: a standard two-day ticket costs a fraction of what a comparable US event charges, with steep concessions for under-26s and students. Your budget goes on Cologne travel and hotels, not the badge.

**What stands out:**
  - Europe's largest digital marketing trade event (~40,000 visitors)
  - 700+ partner companies on the expo floor
  - Among the cheapest major-conference tickets in Europe

#### Emerce eDay

The Netherlands' flagship one-day digital conference, run by the digital-business publisher Emerce. Broad digital marketing, ecommerce, and technology content in Amsterdam.

- **When:**
  - 5 November 2026 — Amsterdam, Netherlands (De Kromhouthal)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €565–€835 — Excludes 21% Dutch VAT. Early Bird €625 (€565 for Emerce subscribers) rising to €835 late.
- **Attendance:** One-day single-track format
- **Best for:** Dutch and Belgian digital marketing leaders
- **Official site:** https://emerceeday.nl/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Emerce eDay is the event a Dutch or Belgian marketing leader would name first, and it is the only Benelux entry on this list. Because Emerce is a publisher rather than an events business, the agenda is editorially selected rather than sold to sponsors. The one-day format at De Kromhouthal keeps the total cost low: a sub-€900 ticket plus a single night in Amsterdam is an easy line item compared with a US trip. Note that the listed prices exclude 21% Dutch VAT, and Emerce subscribers pay meaningfully less, so check whether anyone on your team already has a subscription.

**What stands out:**
  - Run by Emerce - an editorial publisher operating since the late 1990s
  - Single day, single trip - easy to justify
  - Discounted rate for Emerce subscribers

#### DMWF Europe

A broad English-language digital marketing conference at RAI Amsterdam, running since 2016 with sibling editions in North America and Asia. Publishes a full six-stage price ladder.

- **When:**
  - 24–25 November 2026 — Amsterdam, Netherlands (RAI Amsterdam)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €449–€999 — Six-stage price ladder for two-day all-access (€599 Platinum through €999); single-day passes from €449.
- **Attendance:** Annual since 2016
- **Best for:** European digital marketers who want breadth at an accessible price
- **Official site:** https://www.digitalmarketing-conference.com/europe/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** DMWF Europe fills a specific gap: a broad, English-language digital marketing conference held in mainland Europe rather than the UK or the US. The content spans social, content, data, AI and ecommerce, so it is a generalist event rather than a specialist one - useful if you are sending a mixed team. The pricing is unusually transparent, with a full six-stage ladder published months ahead, which makes it easy to plan a booking date around. Single-day passes bring it in cheaper than almost any other credible non-US entry here.

**What stands out:**
  - English-language and mainland European - a rare combination
  - Complete six-stage price ladder published well in advance
  - Single-day passes make it one of the cheapest credible options

#### WMF – We Make Future

Italy's largest digital marketing and innovation festival, the successor to the Web Marketing Festival that has run since 2013. Three days at BolognaFiere across dozens of parallel tracks.

- **When:**
  - 10–12 June 2027 — Bologna, Italy (BolognaFiere)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €89–€649 — Promotional launch price of €89 + IVA against a €649 + IVA list price. Plus VAT.
- **Attendance:** Italy's largest digital marketing festival
- **Best for:** Italian and southern European marketers, and anyone wanting festival scale at low cost
- **Official site:** https://www.wemakefuture.it/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** WMF is both the only Italian entry on this list and the only large-scale European festival with a genuinely low entry price. It grew out of the Web Marketing Festival, which has run since 2013, so the fourteen-year track record is real rather than a rebrand of something new. Three days at BolognaFiere covers digital marketing alongside startup, AI and innovation programming, which makes it closer to OMR or SXSW in spirit than to a focused practitioner conference. The promotional launch price is roughly a seventh of list - worth booking early purely on that basis. Prices exclude Italian VAT.

**What stands out:**
  - Italy's largest digital marketing and innovation event
  - Fourteen-year track record under Search On Media Group
  - Promotional entry pricing is a fraction of the list price

### Content Marketing

#### Content Marketing World

The flagship content marketing conference from Content Marketing Institute, now three days in Denver. Keynotes, deep workshops, and mentorship from senior content strategists.

- **When:**
  - 5–7 October 2026 — Denver, USA (Colorado Convention Center)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Registration sits behind a bot challenge; no rate card could be verified first-hand.
- **Attendance:** ~3,000 (per venue listing)
- **Best for:** Content strategists, content managers, and editorial leaders
- **Official site:** https://www.contentmarketingworld.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** This is the conference for content marketing practitioners. Unlike generalist events, every session is content-focused: strategy, distribution, measurement, AI-assisted creation, and editorial operations. The workshop format means you leave with frameworks you can apply, not just inspiration. Group discounts make it feasible to send a whole content team. One practical note: registration sits behind a bot challenge, so you may need to phone or email for a rate card rather than reading prices off the site. Denver keeps hotel costs reasonable compared with New York or San Francisco.

**What stands out:**
  - The definitive content marketing event, run by CMI
  - Relocated to Denver - after Cleveland and San Diego in earlier years
  - Deep workshops and mentorship, not just keynotes

#### UNBOUND (formerly INBOUND)

After 15 years as INBOUND, HubSpot rebranded its flagship event to UNBOUND. It has evolved from content marketing into a full growth, AI strategy, GTM, and leadership conference.

- **When:**
  - 16–18 September 2026 — Boston, USA (Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center)
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** $1,189–$1,599 — General Admission $1,399; Tier 3 $1,599; group rate $1,189.15 per ticket.
- **Attendance:** 10,000+ (HubSpot community figure)
- **Best for:** Growth marketers, HubSpot users, and B2B marketing leaders
- **Official site:** https://unbound.hubspot.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** UNBOUND has evolved well beyond content marketing into a comprehensive growth and GTM conference, and the 2026 rename reflects that: HubSpot now pitches it at go-to-market leaders rather than inbound marketers specifically. The HubSpot ecosystem content is excellent if you are in their stack, and the general marketing sessions hold up regardless. Two naming details that will trip you up when booking: the event is no longer called INBOUND, and the venue is now the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center - the renamed Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Boston hotels in September run $250-$400/night.

**What stands out:**
  - Renamed from INBOUND for the 2026 edition after fifteen years
  - Repositioned around "modern go-to-market leaders", not inbound marketers
  - One of the largest marketing conferences globally (10,000+ community)

#### Podcast Movement

The main US gathering for the podcast industry, covering production, distribution, monetisation, and podcast advertising. Held at Terminal 5 in New York.

- **When:**
  - 17–18 September 2026 — New York, USA (Terminal 5)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $199–$199 — General admission $199. The co-located Sounds Profitable Business Summit needs a separate pass.
- **Attendance:** The podcast industry’s main US gathering
- **Best for:** Brand teams buying podcast advertising, and marketers running a company podcast
- **Official site:** https://podcastmovement.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Podcast advertising is one of the few channels where buyers routinely have no idea what good rates look like, and Podcast Movement is where both sides of that market are in the same room. For a marketer running a branded podcast, the production and distribution content is directly applicable; for anyone buying podcast media, the co-located Sounds Profitable Business Summit is the more relevant ticket, sold separately. At $199 general admission it is one of the cheapest events here, so the New York hotel bill will dominate the cost.

**What stands out:**
  - The industry event for podcasting, on both the buy and sell sides
  - General admission is among the cheapest on this list
  - Co-located Sounds Profitable Business Summit for the ad-buying side

#### CEX – Content Entrepreneur Expo

A small conference for content entrepreneurs - creators running content as a business - from the team behind Content Marketing World. Deliberately capped and community-led.

- **When:**
  - 19–21 April 2027 — Minneapolis, USA (McNamara Alumni Center)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $599–$1,999 — Conference pass $599; VIP $1,999 including the conference pass, capped at 50 attendees with a fourth day.
- **Attendance:** Small by design; VIP tier capped at 50
- **Best for:** Solo creators, newsletter and media operators, and content-led founders
- **Official site:** https://cexpo.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** CEX is Content Marketing World's smaller sibling, pointed at a different audience: people running content as the business rather than content as a marketing function. The programming covers audience building, monetisation models, newsletters and media ownership - useful for anyone whose marketing strategy is really a media strategy. The deliberate smallness is the product, and the VIP tier is capped at 50 with an additional day, which is about as close to a mastermind as a public conference gets. Minneapolis in April keeps costs sensible.

**What stands out:**
  - Run by the people who built Content Marketing World
  - VIP tier capped at 50 attendees with an extra fourth day
  - Business-of-content focus: audience, monetisation, ownership

### SEO & Search

#### MozCon Roadshow

Moz's SEO conference, now a one-day single-track roadshow that tours cities rather than the three-day Seattle event it was until 2025. The London edition is its first outside the US.

- **When:**
  - 13 November 2026 — London, UK (Convene 22 Bishopsgate)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Sold through an embedded ticketing widget that loads prices client-side; no published rate card.
- **Attendance:** ~600 (London edition, not organiser-stated)
- **Best for:** SEO professionals who want a curated single-track day without a three-day commitment
- **Official site:** https://moz.com/mozcon
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** MozCon built its reputation on curation: every talk is vetted, and nobody buys a speaking slot. What has changed is the shape of the event. The classic three-day, ~1,500-person MozCon at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle is gone, replaced by a touring one-day roadshow - so if you remember it as a week in Seattle, recalibrate. The London edition at Convene 22 Bishopsgate is the first ever held outside the US, with a speaker list including Mike King, Tom Capper, Chima Mmeje and Crystal Carter. Moz sells it through an embedded ticketing widget rather than a public rate card, so check the live price before budgeting. Note that many roundups still list a "MozCon 2026 in Seattle" - that event does not exist.

**What stands out:**
  - One day, one track - you see every talk, no session-picking
  - Curated speaker list with no pay-to-play slots
  - Roadshow format puts it within reach of a day trip for most of Europe

#### brightonSEO

The world's largest search marketing conference, running twice a year in Brighton plus a US edition in San Diego. Expert-led talks, hands-on training, and enormous networking.

- **When:**
  - San Diego edition: 15–16 September 2026 — San Diego, USA (San Diego Convention Center)
  - UK autumn edition: 8–9 October 2026 — Brighton, UK (The Brighton Centre)
  - UK spring edition: Expected April 2027 — Brighton, UK — not yet officially announced
  - San Diego edition: Expected September 2027 — San Diego, USA — not yet officially announced
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Free–£1,100 — UK and US editions price separately and in different currencies. A limited number of free UK ballot tickets are released each cycle.
- **Attendance:** 11,000 a year in Brighton; 20,000+ community
- **Best for:** SEO practitioners at all levels, especially those in the UK and Europe
- **Official site:** https://brightonseo.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** brightonSEO offers the best value proposition in SEO events. The scale means diverse networking across agencies, in-house teams and freelancers, and the community of 20,000+ search professionals is genuinely active between events. The San Diego edition makes it accessible for US teams without transatlantic travel, and the UK spring and autumn editions mean you can almost always find a date that works. The vibe is friendly and inclusive - less corporate than SMX, larger than MozCon. Watch the pricing calendar closely: UK and US editions price separately in different currencies, tiers step up on published dates, and a limited ballot releases free UK tickets.

**What stands out:**
  - World's largest SEO conference - 11,000 attendees a year in Brighton alone
  - Runs three to four editions a year across the UK and US
  - A limited number of free UK ballot tickets each cycle

#### SMX Advanced

Search Marketing Expo, now a portfolio rather than a single event: a European edition in Berlin, a free online SMX Next, and two US in-person editions in 2027. Zero beginner content.

- **When:**
  - SMX Advanced Europe: 29 September – 1 October 2026 — Berlin, Germany (Meliá Hotel Berlin)
  - SMX Next, free online edition: 18 November 2026 — Online, Global
  - US flagship: 17–19 March 2027 — San Diego, USA
  - Second US edition: 20–22 September 2027 — Boston, USA
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** €995–€2,695 — SMX Advanced Europe (Berlin) tiers, excluding 19% German VAT. Each SMX product prices separately; SMX Next is free.
- **Attendance:** Not published
- **Best for:** Senior search marketers who want advanced tactics, not fundamentals
- **Official site:** https://searchengineland.com/smx
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** If you're past the fundamentals and frustrated by conferences that mix beginner and advanced content, SMX is the answer - every session assumes you know the basics. The dual SEO/SEM focus is valuable for teams that span both disciplines. What has changed is the shape: SMX is now a portfolio rather than one flagship. There is a European edition in Berlin, a free online SMX Next each November, and in 2027 two US in-person editions covering both coasts. Note also that the old searchmarketingexpo.com address now redirects - the event lives under Search Engine Land. Berlin pricing excludes 19% German VAT, so add that when budgeting.

**What stands out:**
  - Zero beginner content - every session assumes you know the basics
  - Both SEO and PPC/SEM coverage in parallel tracks
  - Expanding to both US coasts in 2027, plus Berlin and a free online day

#### SMX Paris

The French edition of SMX, in its 15th year. Two days of advanced SEO, paid search, and AI search content in central Paris. Bilingual (French/English) with international speakers.

- **When:**
  - 8–9 June 2027 — Paris, France (Espace Saint Martin)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Rate card for the 15th edition not yet published.
- **Attendance:** 50+ speakers across parallel SEO and SEA tracks
- **Best for:** European search marketers who want advanced SEO/SEM content without crossing the Atlantic
- **Official site:** https://smxfrance.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SMX Paris fills a specific gap: advanced search marketing content in Continental Europe. Where brightonSEO is the UK hub and DMEXCO is broad digital marketing, SMX Paris is pure search - SEO, paid search, and increasingly AI and GEO. The 15-year track record means speaker quality is consistent, and the bilingual format serves the wider European search community. One scheduling change to note: the event has moved from its traditional March slot to June, so there is no SMX Paris edition in late 2026 at all. The rate card for the 15th edition was not published as of August 2026. Paris hotels run EUR 150-250/night.

**What stands out:**
  - 15th edition - the most established search marketing conference in Continental Europe
  - Strong focus on AI search and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
  - Bilingual French/English format with parallel SEO and SEA tracks

#### Ahrefs Evolve

Intentionally capped at 600 attendees for intimate networking, focused on AI search and organic discoverability. Now runs a Singapore edition alongside San Diego.

- **When:**
  - 12–13 October 2026 — San Diego, USA (InterContinental San Diego)
  - Ahrefs Evolve Singapore: 14–15 April 2027 — Singapore, Singapore
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $1,099–$2,199 — Standard Pass $1,099 early bird to $1,299 last chance; VIP tiers above. Earlier releases sell out.
- **Attendance:** 600+ from 35+ countries
- **Best for:** SEO leaders who value depth over breadth and intimate networking
- **Official site:** https://ahrefsevolve.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Ahrefs Evolve takes the opposite approach to brightonSEO - small by design, with a hard cap. The intimate format means you will actually talk to speakers and peers rather than see them from row 47. The content focuses on AI search and organic discoverability, so it is forward-looking rather than retrospective. New for 2027 is a Singapore edition, which makes it the most accessible premium SEO event for APAC teams. Earlier ticket releases sell out well ahead of the event, so the cheapest tiers are gone months in advance - book early or pay the late rate.

**What stands out:**
  - Capped at 600 attendees from 35+ countries for genuine networking
  - Premium tiers include small-group networking with speakers
  - Focused on AI search and organic discoverability

#### Search Central Live Deep Dive Europe

Google's own three-day technical deep dive on crawling, indexing, and rendering, run by the Search Relations team. Free, in-person only, and application-based.

- **When:**
  - 30 September – 2 October 2026 — Barcelona, Spain
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Free — Free, but application-only and in-person only, with no recordings. Applications closed 5 September 2026.
- **Attendance:** Small-group format, capped by application
- **Best for:** Technical SEOs who want answers directly from Google engineers
- **Official site:** https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2026/07/search-central-live-deep-dive-europe-2026
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** This is as close to a primary source as a search conference gets: no third-party organiser, no sponsors, no vendor track - just Google's Search Relations team taking three days over crawling, indexing and rendering. For a technical SEO, the ability to put a specific question to the people who build the system is worth more than a dozen conference talks about what the system probably does. It costs nothing, so the entire budget line is travel. Two constraints to plan around: it is application-based with a published deadline, and there are no recordings, so someone has to actually go.

**What stands out:**
  - Run directly by Google's Search Relations team - a primary source
  - Completely free; you pay only for travel
  - Application-only, in-person only, with no recordings

#### SMX Munich

The German-language flagship of the SMX brand, running in Munich since 2007. Two days of advanced SEO and paid search at the ICM, with a full price ladder published far in advance.

- **When:**
  - 6–7 April 2027 — Munich, Germany (ICM – International Congress Center Messe München)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €699–€2,699 — Two-day conference €1,099 super early bird rising to €1,599 on-site; single-day from €699. Workshop bundles at the top of the range.
- **Attendance:** Running annually since 2007
- **Best for:** Search marketers in the German-speaking market
- **Official site:** https://smxmuenchen.de/en/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SMX Advanced and SMX Paris are already on this list, but neither serves the German-speaking market - which is the largest search marketing market in Europe by spend. SMX Munich is the flagship for that audience, and it is a materially larger and more senior event than the other European SMX editions. The format is the SMX standard: parallel SEO and paid search tracks, no beginner content, and a workshop day you can bolt on. Pricing is published a full eight months ahead with a clear tier ladder, which is a good sign of a well-run event and makes it easy to book at the cheapest rate.

**What stands out:**
  - Running annually since 2007 - roughly the 20th edition
  - Serves the largest search-marketing market in Europe by spend
  - Full multi-tier pricing published months ahead

#### WTSFest London

The Women in Tech SEO community's annual London festival at the Barbican, now in its seventh edition. Technical SEO content from a community that pays its speakers.

- **When:**
  - 19 March 2027 — London, UK (Barbican Centre)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Sold through an external ticketing store whose tiers render client-side; no published rate card.
- **Attendance:** 600+
- **Best for:** Technical SEO practitioners, and teams thinking about development and hiring
- **Official site:** https://www.womenintechseo.com/conference/london/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** WTSFest is run by Areej AbuAli's Women in Tech SEO community, one of the most respected practitioner communities in search, and it shows in the programming: the content is genuinely technical rather than introductory, and the organiser publishes its speaker package openly, paying speakers directly rather than selling slots. That is rarer than it should be. For a budget owner it also does something the rest of this list does not - it is a credible line item for team development and hiring pipeline, not just education. Tickets sell through an external store whose tiers load client-side, so check the live price.

**What stands out:**
  - Run by the Women in Tech SEO community, operating since 2019
  - Speakers are paid directly - no pay-to-speak slots
  - 600+ attendees at the Barbican Centre

#### SEO-Day Cologne

A long-running German SEO conference at Cologne's RheinEnergieSTADION, founded before 2010 and repositioned squarely around AI search. Livestream and in-person tiers.

- **When:**
  - 19 November 2026 — Cologne, Germany (RheinEnergieSTADION)
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** €149–€1,699 — Livestream early bird €149 (from €299); in-person early bird €349 (from €599); premium tiers above.
- **Attendance:** 520+ attendees, 30+ speakers
- **Best for:** German-market SEOs, and anyone wanting a cheap remote option
- **Official site:** https://www.seo-day.de/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SEO-Day is the cleanest example on this list of an established conference that has genuinely repositioned around AI search rather than bolting on one token session - the site describes itself as a specialist conference for search and AI. It has run since before 2010 under Fabian Rossbacher, so the track record is long and the organiser is publicly accountable. The practical draw for anyone outside Germany is the livestream tier, which at early-bird pricing is one of the cheapest ways into a serious search conference anywhere. The in-person event is at the RheinEnergieSTADION, which is a better venue than it sounds.

**What stands out:**
  - 15+ years under a named, publicly identifiable organiser
  - Genuinely repositioned around AI search, not a token track
  - Livestream tier is among the cheapest ways into a serious conference

#### OMX & SEOkomm

Two paired single-day conferences in Salzburg - OMX for online marketing on day one, SEOkomm for SEO on day two. Running since 2010, with an explicit anti-pay-to-speak policy.

- **When:**
  - OMX day one, SEOkomm day two: 26–27 November 2026 — Salzburg, Austria (Salzburg Congress)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €630–€980 — Net prices plus 20% Austrian VAT. Conference tickets €630–€790 net depending on sales phase; evening networking event extra.
- **Attendance:** Running since 2010
- **Best for:** DACH-region search and online marketers who want depth in German
- **Official site:** https://www.onlineexpertdays.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Nothing else on this list covers the DACH region's deep-dive search circuit, and this is the definitive entry alongside SEO-Day. The structure is the selling point for a budget owner: two distinct conferences on consecutive days in the same venue, so one flight and two nights buys you both a broad online-marketing day (OMX) and a specialist SEO day (SEOkomm). The organiser states its anti-pay-to-speak policy explicitly and in writing, and the programme is selected by a named committee. Prices are quoted net - add 20% Austrian VAT - and the evening networking event is a separate line.

**What stands out:**
  - Two conferences, one trip - OMX then SEOkomm
  - The reference SEO conference of the German-speaking world
  - Written anti-pay-to-speak policy with a named programme committee

#### Tech SEO Connect

A small US technical SEO conference in Durham, North Carolina, made by and for technical SEOs. Single flat ticket price, no tiers.

- **When:**
  - 5–6 November 2026 — Durham, NC, USA (Bay 7)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $999–$999 — Single flat General Admission price, before processing fees.
- **Attendance:** 3rd in-person edition
- **Best for:** Technical SEOs in the US who miss a dedicated deep-technical event
- **Official site:** https://www.techseoconnect.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** With the classic Seattle MozCon gone, the US has almost no dedicated technical-SEO conference left, and Tech SEO Connect is the credible successor in that slot at a fraction of enterprise-conference cost. It is positioned as made for technical SEOs by technical SEOs, and the associated practitioners are recognisable names in the discipline. The single flat ticket price is a small thing that says a lot about how it is run - no tier games, no pressure to book by an arbitrary date. Durham is cheap to fly into and cheap to stay in, which keeps the all-in cost well under most US alternatives.

**What stands out:**
  - Purpose-built for technical SEO, not general search marketing
  - One flat price - no tier ladder, no upsells
  - Small enough that you actually meet the speakers

#### SERP Conf. Sofia

Eastern Europe's anchor search conference, run by the Bulgarian agency Serpact across Sofia, Vienna, and Rome. Two days combining a conference track with AI labs and masterclasses.

- **When:**
  - 24–25 March 2027 — Sofia, Bulgaria (Inter Expo Center)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €99–€379 — Conference ticket €99 super early bird (€199 list); AI Lab and masterclass bundles above that.
- **Attendance:** 3,200+ across eight editions
- **Best for:** Search marketers in Central and Eastern Europe, and anyone chasing value
- **Official site:** https://serpconf.com/sofia/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SERP Conf. is the anchor search event for Central and Eastern Europe, a region otherwise absent from this list, and it has eight editions and 3,200+ attendees behind it. The format is more useful than a straight conference: day one is AI labs and masterclasses, day two is the conference track, so you leave having actually done something. The pricing is the headline - a super early bird conference ticket costs less than a single night in a Cannes hotel, and the full ladder was live thirteen months ahead. Be aware the site's own pricing displays have been inconsistent, so confirm the tier at checkout.

**What stands out:**
  - Eight prior editions across three countries
  - Two-day format pairing conference talks with hands-on AI labs
  - Super early bird pricing is the best value on this entire list

#### CAMPIXX

A barcamp-influenced German SEO, content, and online marketing conference near Berlin, running since 2009. Unusually high session count and a strong anti-sales-pitch culture.

- **When:**
  - 3–4 June 2027 — Berlin, Germany (Van der Valk Hotel Berlin Brandenburg)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €599–€899 — Super-Early €699 through Regular €899. Team bundles cut the per-ticket price to €633–€833.
- **Attendance:** Running since 2009
- **Best for:** Practitioners who prefer workshops and discussion to keynote theatre
- **Official site:** https://www.campixx.de/campixx/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** CAMPIXX is the hands-on counterpart to the more formal German search conferences: barcamp-influenced, discussion-led, with an unusually high number of parallel sessions and an explicit culture against sales pitches from the stage. It has run since 2009 under SUMAGO, so the format is well-established rather than experimental. For a budget owner the interesting detail is the team bundle pricing, which drops the per-ticket cost enough to make it a realistic team-training line rather than a single-attendee trip. It lands in June, when this list's non-US coverage is otherwise thin.

**What stands out:**
  - Running since 2009 under a named organiser (~19th edition)
  - Barcamp-influenced format with a very high session count
  - Team bundles cut the per-ticket price meaningfully

### Social Media

#### Social Media Marketing World

The mega-conference for social media marketers by Social Media Examiner. Covers AI in social, social search, influencer marketing, and short-form video, with the co-located AI Business World included.

- **When:**
  - 1–3 April 2027 — Anaheim, USA (Anaheim Convention Center)
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** $497–$1,997 — Retail: Virtual $997, Marketer $1,697, All-Access $1,997. Promotional pricing runs well below list. Co-located AI Business World is included.
- **Attendance:** Not published ("thousands of marketers")
- **Best for:** Social media managers, community managers, and social strategists
- **Official site:** https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/smmworld/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Social Media Marketing World is to social media what Content Marketing World is to content - the definitive event. The on-demand recording access is a standout benefit, effectively turning your ticket into an ongoing education resource for the rest of the year. The virtual tier is solid if you cannot travel, and the co-located AI Business World is included with a ticket rather than sold separately, which meaningfully improves the value. Watch the promotional pricing: the advertised retail rates and the actual sale rates differ substantially, so never pay list. Anaheim hotels are reasonable at $150-$250/night.

**What stands out:**
  - The definitive social media marketing conference
  - Extended on-demand recording access included with a ticket
  - Co-located AI Business World included free with SMMW tickets

#### VidCon Anaheim

The flagship gathering of the creator economy, bringing creators, platforms, and the brands that pay them into one convention centre. The Industry track is the part that matters for marketers.

- **When:**
  - 8–10 July 2027 — Anaheim, USA (Anaheim Convention Center)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — 2027 pricing not published — the tickets page still shows the passed June 2026 tiers.
- **Attendance:** The creator economy’s flagship gathering
- **Best for:** Influencer and creator marketing leads, and brands buying creator media
- **Official site:** https://vidcon.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** If you spend money on creators, VidCon is where the supply side actually is. The event has three audiences layered on top of each other - fans, creators, and industry - and the Industry track is the one to buy into: platform product leads, talent agencies, and brand teams comparing notes on what creator partnerships genuinely cost. That price transparency is hard to get any other way. Note that the fan-facing scale makes Anaheim expensive and busy in July, so book hotels early. 2027 pricing had not been published as of August 2026; the ticket page still showed the passed 2026 tiers.

**What stands out:**
  - The single largest concentration of creators and platform teams anywhere
  - Dedicated Industry track separate from the fan-facing programme
  - Where creator rate cards and platform roadmaps get discussed openly

#### CreatorFest Europe

A European creator economy festival at Magazine London, aimed at the business side of creator marketing rather than the fan side.

- **When:**
  - 13–14 July 2027 — London, UK (Magazine London)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Waitlist-only save-the-date; no 2027 prices published yet.
- **Attendance:** Not published
- **Best for:** European brand and agency teams building creator programmes
- **Official site:** https://creatorfest.co/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Creator marketing events are overwhelmingly American, which makes budgeting a European creator programme harder than it should be - different platforms dominate, rates differ, and the talent pool is not the same. CreatorFest Europe is the main event addressing that gap. Set expectations appropriately though: as of August 2026 the site was a save-the-date with a waitlist rather than a full programme, so the dates are published but the agenda and pricing are not. Join the waitlist for the launch discount and treat the line item as provisional until the programme lands.

**What stands out:**
  - European counterweight to a creator circuit that is almost entirely US
  - Magazine London venue, on the Greenwich Peninsula
  - Early waitlist signup carries a discount on launch pricing

#### Social Media Strategies Summit

A virtual, multi-track social media conference aimed at in-house corporate social teams, with a transparent five-step early-bird price ladder.

- **When:**
  - Corporate edition: 10–11 March 2027 — Online, Global
- **Format:** virtual
- **Ticket price:** $349–$749 — Five-step early-bird ladder from $349 to $749. Optional 9 March pre-summit workshop is $199 extra.
- **Attendance:** Virtual, multi-track
- **Best for:** In-house corporate social media managers and teams on a tight budget
- **Official site:** https://socialmediastrategiessummit.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Social Media Strategies Summit is the practical, unglamorous option in this category: virtual, cheap, and pitched squarely at in-house corporate social teams rather than agencies or the creator economy. That focus is the point - the sessions deal with governance, approvals, crisis response and measurement inside a large organisation, which the creator-led events largely ignore. Because it is virtual there is no travel budget to defend, making it one of the easiest approvals on this list for a team that needs training rather than a trip. Optional pre-summit workshops are sold separately.

**What stands out:**
  - Fully virtual - no travel line at all
  - Aimed at corporate in-house teams rather than agencies or creators
  - Transparent tier ladder starting well under $400

### Email Marketing

#### Litmus Live

A free, fully virtual email marketing conference, drawing attendees from 79 countries. Now run under Validity, which acquired Litmus in 2025 - so expect more vendor presence than in its independent years.

- **When:**
  - Expected February 2027 — Online, Global — not yet officially announced
- **Format:** virtual
- **Ticket price:** Free — Free — the 2026 edition was 100% free with no paid tier.
- **Attendance:** Attendees from 79 countries (2026)
- **Best for:** Email marketers and lifecycle marketers, especially solo operators and small teams
- **Official site:** https://www.litmus.com/conference
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Litmus Live is free, virtual, and genuinely useful on the craft of email - deliverability, rendering, accessibility and lifecycle strategy. Two caveats worth knowing before you plan around it. First, Validity acquired Litmus in 2025 and the recent speaker roster leans heavily on Validity executives, so it is less vendor-neutral than it once was. Second, the slot has moved: it ran in the autumn through 2024, then the twelfth edition landed in February 2026, and nothing is announced beyond that. Treat the expected timing as a genuine guess rather than a pattern, and watch litmus.com for the announcement. At zero cost and zero travel, it remains an easy addition to an email team's year.

**What stands out:**
  - Completely free, with no paid tier at all
  - Virtual - no travel budget required
  - Practical email craft: deliverability, design, accessibility, lifecycle strategy

### B2B Marketing

#### MarketingProfs B2B Forum

One of the most respected B2B marketing events, running 20+ years. Focused on driving growth, brand reputation, and proving ROI. Strong community and career development focus.

- **When:**
  - 2–4 November 2026 — Boston, USA (Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $1,595–$2,075 — Summer rate (20% off): Main Conference $1,595, All-Access $2,075. PRO members save a further $200.
- **Attendance:** Not published
- **Best for:** B2B marketers at all levels, especially those focused on demand gen and brand
- **Official site:** https://mpb2b.marketingprofs.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** MarketingProfs B2B Forum is the conference that B2B marketers recommend to each other. The 20+ year track record means the programming is refined and the community is genuine. Ann Handley's involvement brings a writing and content-quality focus that distinguishes it from more tech-heavy B2B events. Pricing runs on seasonal rates rather than a flat price, and PRO members save a further $200 on top - so check which window you are booking in. Boston in November is cold, but hotel prices are far more reasonable than peak season. Best for B2B marketers who value practical frameworks over hype.

**What stands out:**
  - 20+ years running - one of the most established B2B events
  - Strong community focus with career development sessions
  - Practical ROI measurement and growth strategy content

#### B2B Marketing Exchange (B2BMX)

Three immersive days of GTM strategy, ABM innovation, AI-powered insights, and networking at a resort setting. Focuses on the convergence of marketing and sales in B2B.

- **When:**
  - 22–24 February 2027 — Carlsbad, USA (Omni La Costa Resort)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $1,495–$2,095 — Practitioner passes: $1,495 super early bird through $1,895 standard. Solution-provider rates are higher.
- **Attendance:** 1,000+
- **Best for:** B2B demand gen leaders and ABM practitioners
- **Official site:** https://b2bmarketing.exchange/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** B2BMX stands out for its resort setting and its focus on the marketing-sales convergence. The Omni La Costa Resort creates a retreat atmosphere that encourages deeper conversations than a convention centre. The content leans heavily into ABM, intent data, and AI-driven GTM strategy. Practitioner passes are priced well below solution-provider passes, and the tiers step up on published dates - the super early bird window closes in early December, months before the event. Best for demand gen leaders actively running ABM programmes.

**What stands out:**
  - Omni La Costa Resort location creates a retreat-like atmosphere
  - Deep focus on ABM and GTM strategy convergence
  - Strong practitioner-to-practitioner networking format

#### Forrester B2B Summit

The premier analyst-led B2B conference, with every session backed by Forrester research. Also runs a B2B Forum EMEA edition in London.

- **When:**
  - 2–4 May 2027 — Phoenix, USA (Phoenix Convention Center)
  - Forrester B2B Forum EMEA: 28–29 September 2026 — London, UK
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $2,295–$2,495 — Early bird through 31 December 2026: client $2,295, non-client $2,495. Five tickets for the price of four.
- **Attendance:** Not published (~4,000 estimated)
- **Best for:** B2B marketing and sales leaders making strategic decisions
- **Official site:** https://www.forrester.com/event/b2b-summit-north-america/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Forrester B2B Summit is the most data-heavy conference in this category. Every session is backed by Forrester research, which means fewer hot takes and more evidence-based strategy - useful when you need external authority to support an internal argument. Forrester clients pay a lower rate than non-clients, and a five-for-four team discount brings the per-head cost down meaningfully for a leadership team travelling together. European teams should note the London B2B Forum EMEA edition, which is a shorter and cheaper way to get the same research. Best for VP+ leaders who need research to support strategic decisions.

**What stands out:**
  - Research-backed content from Forrester analysts
  - Data-heavy, strategic content for leadership teams
  - Sibling B2B Forum EMEA edition in London each autumn

#### Wynter Spryng

An "unconference" for senior B2B SaaS marketers. No salespeople allowed. A matching system pairs attendees by role, company size, and challenges. Peer-to-peer learning in an intimate setting.

- **When:**
  - Expected March 2027 — Austin, USA (Central Machine Works (venue of recent editions)) — not yet officially announced
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — The site still shows the March 2026 rate card ($1,500 in-house marketer, higher for agencies); 2027 pricing is not out.
- **Attendance:** ~500, curated
- **Best for:** Senior B2B SaaS marketing leaders who want peer-to-peer learning
- **Official site:** https://wynter.com/spryng
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Wynter Spryng is the anti-conference conference. No vendor booths, no salespeople, no pay-to-play speakers. The matching system pairs you with peers facing similar challenges, which makes the networking unusually relevant. The unconference format means discussions are driven by attendee needs rather than a pre-set agenda, and application-based admission keeps the quality bar high. One practical warning: as of August 2026 the official page still displays the already-past March 2026 edition and its pricing, so anything you read there is last year's. The 2027 dates had not been announced - check back in late 2026, when previous editions have typically gone live.

**What stands out:**
  - No salespeople allowed - pure peer-to-peer learning
  - Matching system pairs attendees by role and challenges
  - Intentionally small (~500) for genuine connections

#### Drive by Exit Five

A capped, residential B2B marketing conference in Vermont from Exit Five, Dave Gerhardt's B2B marketing community. In-house marketers are priced deliberately below agencies.

- **When:**
  - 8–10 September 2026 — Stowe, VT, USA (The Lodge at Spruce Peak)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $1,299–$1,999 — In-house B2B marketers $1,299 (Exit Five members) or $1,499; agencies and service providers $1,899.
- **Attendance:** ~400
- **Best for:** In-house B2B marketers who want a small, practitioner-led event
- **Official site:** https://exitfive.com/drive/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** This list's B2B section is otherwise all large analyst- or media-run events, and Drive fills the missing slot: small, capped, practitioner-led, and weighted toward in-house marketers rather than vendors. The residential format at a Vermont mountain lodge means everyone eats and drinks in the same place for three days, which does more for genuine connection than any structured networking session. The pricing enforces the audience mix deliberately - in-house marketers pay several hundred dollars less than agencies and service providers, and Exit Five members less again. Stowe is not cheap or easy to reach, so budget the travel carefully.

**What stands out:**
  - ~400 attendees at a mountain lodge - everyone is in the same place
  - In-house marketers pay less than agencies and service providers
  - Third annual edition from an established paid community

#### GTM Summit (Pavilion)

Pavilion's flagship annual conference for go-to-market leaders, marking the community's tenth year. Four days in New York with a capped executive women's summit alongside.

- **When:**
  - 28 September – 1 October 2026 — New York, USA (The Glasshouse)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — No public rate card — ticket types and pricing sit behind the registration flow.
- **Attendance:** 1,000 GTM operators
- **Best for:** Senior B2B SaaS revenue and marketing leaders
- **Official site:** https://attendgtm.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** GTM Summit fills the senior B2B SaaS revenue-leadership gap that nothing else here covers. The closest entries - Forrester B2B Summit and B2BMX - are analyst and media events; this is a peer-community one, run by Pavilion, a decade-old paid private community of vetted GTM leaders. That changes the room: attendees are operators with budget authority rather than a mixed audience, and the conversations tend to be more candid as a result. There is no public rate card, so pricing sits behind the registration flow. Best for VP and C-level leaders who want peers rather than podiums.

**What stands out:**
  - 1,000 vetted GTM operators from a decade-old private community
  - Peer-community event rather than an analyst or media production
  - Co-located Women's Summit capped at 150 executives

#### B2B Ignite

The UK's flagship B2B marketing conference, run annually for over a decade by B2B Marketing (b2bmarketing.net). Four tracks spanning demand generation, brand, leadership, and skills.

- **When:**
  - 1 July 2027 — London, UK
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — 2027 tickets are not on sale — the page offers a register-interest link only.
- **Attendance:** 1,000+ attendees, 70+ speakers
- **Best for:** European B2B marketers, who are otherwise poorly served by this list
- **Official site:** https://events.b2bmarketing.net/b2bignite
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** The B2B events on this list are almost entirely American - B2BMX, Forrester B2B Summit and MarketingProfs B2B Forum are all US, and the European entries (Festival of Marketing, MAD//Fest, OMR) are consumer and brand-led. B2B Ignite is the missing piece: a dedicated UK B2B marketing conference run for over a decade by B2B Marketing, the organisation behind the B2B Marketing Awards and the Propolis membership. Four tracks mean a mixed team can split up usefully. Note that 2027 tickets were not on sale as of August 2026 - the page offers a register-interest link only, so there is no price to plan against yet.

**What stands out:**
  - Over a decade of annual editions from an established UK organiser
  - 1,000+ attendees across four parallel tracks
  - The main European counterweight to the US-heavy B2B circuit

#### 6sense Breakthrough

The flagship customer conference from 6sense, the account-based marketing and buyer-intent platform. Four days in Las Vegas covering ABM strategy and revenue technology.

- **When:**
  - 2–5 November 2026 — Las Vegas, USA (Fontainebleau Las Vegas)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — No public rate card on the event site or its FAQ.
- **Attendance:** 1,300+ at the 2025 edition
- **Best for:** ABM practitioners and revenue teams, especially 6sense customers
- **Official site:** https://6sense.com/breakthrough/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Account-based marketing is a genuine gap on this list - nothing else covers ABM and buyer intent as its central subject, and Demandbase has no comparable public conference with published dates. Breakthrough is a vendor conference, so calibrate accordingly: the roadmap content is valuable if you run 6sense, and the strategy content is useful more broadly, but it is not vendor-neutral. The four-day Las Vegas format and the venue signal a substantial production. No public rate card is available, so you will need to go through registration to get a price.

**What stands out:**
  - The only major event on this list with ABM as its core subject
  - Runs since at least 2023 with prior editions still documented
  - Four-day format at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas

### Growth & Product Marketing

#### SaaStr Annual

The largest SaaS community event, covering PLG, retention, scaling, and AI across a festival-style outdoor campus in the San Francisco Bay Area.

- **When:**
  - Expected May 2027 — San Mateo, USA (San Mateo County Event Center) — not yet officially announced
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — No ticket prices published — the buy-tickets pages carry no visible rate card.
- **Attendance:** 10,000+
- **Best for:** SaaS marketers, growth leaders, and product-led growth teams
- **Official site:** https://www.saastrannual.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** SaaStr Annual is where the SaaS ecosystem gathers. The outdoor campus format creates a festival atmosphere unlike any other marketing conference. At 10,000+ attendees the networking is enormous but can be overwhelming without a plan. PLG, retention and scaling workshops are consistently strong. Two budgeting notes: SaaStr does not publish a public rate card - the ticket pages carry no visible prices - and Bay Area hotels run $300-$500/night, so the travel side dominates. Budget $4,000-$6,000 all-in and request pricing directly.

**What stands out:**
  - Largest SaaS community event (10,000+ attendees)
  - Heavy AI programming, including live demos and workshops
  - Festival-style outdoor campus format

#### Product Marketing Summit

A global series from Product Marketing Alliance running 20+ dated editions a year across five continents, with tracks spanning product marketing, developer marketing, customer marketing, AI, and a CMO track.

- **When:**
  - 9–10 September 2026 — San Francisco, USA
  - PMM Leaders Summit: 2 September 2026 — London, UK
  - 21 October 2026 — Berlin, Germany
  - 27–28 October 2026 — Boston, USA
  - 28 October 2026 — Sydney, Australia
  - 12–13 November 2026 — Toronto, Canada
  - 18–19 November 2026 — Chicago, USA
  - 2–3 December 2026 — London, UK
  - Launch: 21 January 2027 — San Francisco, USA
  - 28 January 2027 — Washington, D.C., USA
  - 24–25 February 2027 — Austin, USA
  - 18–19 March 2027 — New York, USA
  - 7–8 April 2027 — Denver, USA
  - PMM Leaders Summit: 14 April 2027 — San Jose, USA
  - 27–28 May 2027 — Amsterdam, Netherlands
  - 3–4 June 2027 — Atlanta, USA
  - 17–18 June 2027 — Seattle, USA
  - Product Marketing Festival: 8 July 2027 — New York, USA
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $750–$1,999 — Individual pass $1,295 (early bird $995 in some cities); PMA members $750; Pro+ membership $1,999.
- **Attendance:** 300–800 per city
- **Best for:** Product marketers, developer marketers, and customer marketing leaders
- **Official site:** https://world.productmarketingalliance.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** The Product Marketing Summit series is the only conference dedicated specifically to product marketing as a discipline. The multi-track format gives you depth rather than breadth. The membership maths is the thing to understand: a PMA membership costs less per event than an individual pass, so if you attend two or more a year the membership pays for itself - and the series runs 20+ dated editions annually across North America, Europe, Australia and beyond, so travel costs stay low. Best for product marketers who want to go deep on positioning, launch strategy and competitive intelligence.

**What stands out:**
  - 20+ dated editions a year - almost certainly one near you
  - Specialised tracks including Developer and Customer Marketing
  - PMA membership pricing cuts the per-event cost sharply

#### Growth Marketing Summit

Europe's conversion optimisation and experimentation conference, run by the German agency konversionsKRAFT since 2016. One day at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.

- **When:**
  - 15 June 2027 — Frankfurt, Germany (Alte Oper)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €799–€1,299 — Plus 19% German VAT. Early Bird €799 through Last Minute €1,299. The 2026 edition was postponed into this date.
- **Attendance:** Series running since 2016
- **Best for:** Growth, CRO, and experimentation leads in Europe
- **Official site:** https://www.growthmindedsuperheroes.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** There is no European growth, CRO or experimentation event anywhere else on this list - Wynter Spryng and Product Marketing Summit cover adjacent ground but are US-anchored. Growth Marketing Summit is the European equivalent, and the only entry that speaks directly to a growth or experimentation lead. The content is experimentation design, conversion optimisation, growth loops and customer-centric strategy, run by konversionsKRAFT, Germany's best-known CRO agency. One scheduling note: the 2026 edition was postponed into this June 2027 date for logistical reasons, so this is the next running of a series that skipped a year. Prices exclude 19% German VAT.

**What stands out:**
  - The European event for CRO and experimentation specifically
  - Run since 2016 by konversionsKRAFT, a named specialist agency
  - Single day at a genuinely good venue

### Advertising & AdTech

#### Cannes Lions

The world's most prestigious advertising and creative communications festival. The "Oscars of advertising" where global brands, agencies, and tech companies showcase creative excellence.

- **When:**
  - 21–25 June 2027 — Cannes, France (Palais des Festivals et des Congrès)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €99–€4,465 — 2026-cycle pricing; 2027 passes are not on sale yet. Streaming Pass €99 at the low end, Classic Pass ~€4,465 plus 20% VAT.
- **Attendance:** ~13,000–15,000 (trade estimates)
- **Best for:** Creative directors, brand leaders, and advertising executives
- **Official site:** https://www.canneslions.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Cannes Lions is less a conference and more an institution. If you are in advertising or brand marketing at a senior level, it is the event that shapes the industry's creative direction for the year. The awards set benchmarks; the networking defines agency and brand relationships. The cost is significant - the Classic Pass carries 20% VAT on top, and Cannes hotel prices can hit EUR 500-1,000/night during the festival, so budget EUR 8,000-12,000 all-in. Two cheaper routes in: a streaming pass gets you the content for a tiny fraction of the price, and the festival runs discounted passes for start-ups and young talent.

**What stands out:**
  - The "Oscars of advertising" - the most prestigious creative awards
  - Where global brand/agency relationships are built and renewed
  - A low-cost streaming pass exists for teams that cannot travel

#### Advertising Week Europe

The European edition of the global Advertising Week franchise. Three days covering brand strategy, media buying, creative, and the evolving European advertising landscape, held in London.

- **When:**
  - Expected March 2027 — London, UK (180 Studios (venue of recent editions)) — not yet officially announced
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — Pass types are listed behind registration with no published amounts.
- **Attendance:** Not published
- **Best for:** European advertising professionals, media buyers, and brand strategists
- **Official site:** https://advertisingweek.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Advertising Week Europe brings the scale of its New York sibling to London. The content covers the full advertising landscape: programmatic, brand safety, creative effectiveness, retail media, and the regulatory environment - GDPR and the Digital Markets Act - that makes European advertising uniquely complex. The 180 Studios setting in Shoreditch is more creative than a convention centre. Two planning notes: the 2027 dates had not been announced as of August 2026, and Advertising Week lists pass types behind registration without publishing amounts, so you will need to register to see a price. Budget GBP 1,500-2,500 all-in including London hotels.

**What stands out:**
  - Part of the global Advertising Week franchise (New York, London, Mexico City)
  - The largest advertising-focused event in Europe
  - Strong coverage of the European regulatory environment

#### MAD//Fest

The UK's most distinctive marketing and advertising festival, combining serious marketing content with a festival atmosphere - DJs, food, parties, and experiential activations alongside keynotes. Invite-only, with a sister festival in northern England.

- **When:**
  - 6–8 July 2027 — London, UK (Shoreditch (site not yet named))
  - MAD//North, host city to be confirmed: 10–11 March 2027 — Northern England, UK

- **Attendance:** 8,000+ brand and agency decision-makers
- **Best for:** Brand marketers and creative leaders who want more than a traditional conference
- **Official site:** https://www.madfestlondon.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** MAD//Fest is what happens when you design a marketing conference for people who are tired of marketing conferences. The Shoreditch setting creates an atmosphere that is part festival, part conference, part brand showcase. The content is strong on brand strategy, creative effectiveness and innovation, but the real draw is the experiential format - activations, live demos, and networking that feels organic rather than forced. The access model matters: it is invite-only, with the organiser stating that 90% of tickets are reserved for brand and agency decision-makers, and there is no public rate card at all. Apply early. A sister festival, MAD//North, runs in northern England in March.

**What stands out:**
  - Festival atmosphere with experiential activations, not a convention centre
  - 8,000+ brand and agency decision-makers
  - Invite-only - 90% of tickets are reserved for brand and agency side

- **Best for:** Advertising professionals across all disciplines and career levels
- **Official site:** https://advertisingweek.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Advertising Week New York is one of the best value propositions in the advertising conference world - the price-to-content ratio is hard to beat, especially at the entry tier. With 1,300+ speakers across dozens of content tracks, the breadth is enormous. The trade-off is scale: it can feel more like a trade show than an intimate conference, and you will need to plan a route through the programme. The Penn District location is convenient for travel. Worth knowing: Advertising Week also runs a LATAM edition in Mexico City in November, which is a cheaper way into the same franchise.

**What stands out:**
  - 1,300+ speakers and 500+ sessions
  - A low-cost entry tier makes it unusually accessible
  - Largest advertising event in North America

#### Google Marketing Live

- **Official site:** https://www.googlemarketinglive.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

It is free, it is virtual, and it is where Google announces the product changes that will affect your campaigns. The AI-driven ad features announced here typically roll out over the following six to twelve months, so it is effectively a preview of next year's account management. In-person attendance is invite-only, but the livestream carries the same announcements. Block the afternoon and watch it with your PPC team. Dates are usually announced only a few weeks ahead.

**What stands out:**
  - Free livestream accessible to everyone globally
  - First look at new Google Ads features and AI tools
  - Essential for planning Google Ads strategy for the year

### MarTech & AI

#### Adobe Summit

The premier marketing technology and customer experience conference. Hundreds of sessions covering AI, personalisation at scale, and the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, with a free online tier.

- **When:**
  - 22–25 March 2027 — Las Vegas, USA
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** Not published — 2027 pricing opens in autumn 2026, with a stated $600 early-registration saving. The online stream is free.
- **Attendance:** 15,000+ decision-makers
- **Best for:** Marketing ops leaders, CX professionals, and Adobe ecosystem users
- **Official site:** https://summit.adobe.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Adobe Summit is the enterprise martech event. If your organisation uses Adobe Experience Cloud, this is essential for getting value from your investment, and even if you are not an Adobe shop the CX and personalisation content is best-in-class. The free online option makes the keynote content accessible to anyone, while the in-person experience adds hands-on labs and networking. On timing: 2027 registration opens in autumn 2026, with a stated $600 saving for early registrants, so the calendar reminder is worth setting. Las Vegas keeps travel costs moderate relative to San Francisco.

**What stands out:**
  - Hundreds of sessions across a dozen-plus tracks
  - Free online attendance option
  - Deep dives into enterprise marketing technology and AI

#### Dreamforce

One of the largest tech conferences globally with 1,600+ sessions. While CRM-focused, it is essential for marketing ops, marketing automation, and AI-powered customer journeys.

- **When:**
  - 15–17 September 2026 — San Francisco, USA (Moscone Center)
- **Format:** hybrid
- **Ticket price:** $999–$2,299 — Full Conference pass list $2,299, discounted to $1,899 in the final tier. Streamed free on Salesforce+.
- **Attendance:** 1,600+ sessions
- **Best for:** Marketing ops teams, Salesforce/Marketing Cloud users, and CRM-driven marketers
- **Official site:** https://www.salesforce.com/dreamforce/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Dreamforce is more than a conference - it effectively takes over downtown San Francisco. For marketing teams on Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Account Engagement, the product sessions and roadmap reveals are invaluable. The ticket is reasonable given the scale, but San Francisco hotel prices during Dreamforce spike to $400-$700/night, so the travel line dominates - budget $3,500-$5,000 all-in. If you cannot justify the trip, the keynotes stream free on Salesforce+, which covers the roadmap announcements if not the networking.

**What stands out:**
  - 1,600+ sessions across the Salesforce ecosystem
  - Essential for Marketing Cloud and Account Engagement users
  - Keynotes streamed free on Salesforce+

#### The MarTech Conference

Completely free online conference from MarTech.org, running twice a year. Explores AI agents, marketing automation, and martech stack optimisation.

- **When:**
  - 2 September 2026 — Online, Global
  - Autumn edition: 4 November 2026 — Online, Global
- **Format:** virtual
- **Ticket price:** Free — Free — no paid tier.
- **Attendance:** Not published
- **Best for:** Marketing technologists and marketing ops professionals
- **Official site:** https://martech.org/conference/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** The MarTech Conference is the best free education in the martech space. Run by MarTech.org, the content is vendor-neutral and genuinely useful - it is about how to choose and run a stack, not how to buy one product. Two editions a year means you can stay current without a travel budget, and the AI agents and automation content is the most relevant it has ever been. No travel, no cost, no sales pitches. Send the calendar invite to your whole ops team; it is the easiest yes on this list.

**What stands out:**
  - Completely free - no paywall and no paid tier
  - Two editions a year, in September and November
  - Vendor-neutral content on martech stack strategy

#### MAICON

The leading conference dedicated specifically to AI in marketing, run by the Marketing AI Institute. Covers practical AI implementation across all marketing functions.

- **When:**
  - 13–15 October 2026 — Cleveland, USA (Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $1,899–$2,999 — Main Conference $1,899 early bird through $2,099 on-site; all-access tiers above.
- **Attendance:** Not published
- **Best for:** Marketing leaders implementing AI across their organisations
- **Official site:** https://www.marketingaiinstitute.com/events/marketing-artificial-intelligence-conference
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** MAICON is the go-to event if AI in marketing is your primary focus. Every conference now has an "AI track", but MAICON is entirely about practical implementation for marketers - real use cases across content, personalisation, analytics and media buying. Run by the Marketing AI Institute, the content quality is consistently high and the speakers are practitioners rather than futurists. Pricing has risen substantially as the category has heated up, so it is no longer the budget option it once was - but Cleveland keeps hotel and travel costs low at $150-$200/night, which offsets a good deal of the ticket.

**What stands out:**
  - The only major conference 100% focused on AI in marketing
  - Run by Marketing AI Institute - deep practitioner expertise
  - Practical AI implementation, not just theory

#### GEO Conference

A conference devoted entirely to generative engine optimisation - getting cited by AI answer engines. Small, single-day, capped at 150 seats, running in New York and San Francisco.

- **When:**
  - 4 December 2026 — New York, USA (Quorum, 1221 Avenue of the Americas)
  - San Francisco edition: 9 December 2026 — San Francisco, USA
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $750–$900 — All-access $900; group rates $800 each for two or more and $750 each for three or more, applied at checkout.
- **Attendance:** 150 seats per city
- **Best for:** SEO and content leaders working out how to rank inside AI answers
- **Official site:** https://geo-conference.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** This is the clearest gap on the old version of this page. GEO - optimising to be cited by AI answer engines rather than ranked in blue links - is the defining shift heading into 2027, and every established SEO conference currently treats it as one track among many. This one is built entirely around it, with three prior editions inside eighteen months and public testimonials from named practitioners at companies like Expedia Group. The 150-seat cap keeps it genuinely small, and group rates make it cheap to send two or three people. It runs twice in December, in New York and then San Francisco.

**What stands out:**
  - The only event on this list built entirely around AI-search optimisation
  - Capped at 150 seats per city - deliberately small
  - Group pricing drops the per-head cost for teams of two or more

### eCommerce

#### Shoptalk Spring

The largest conference dedicated to retail and ecommerce innovation. Focuses on AI transformation, retail media networks, and consumer experience.

- **When:**
  - 22–24 March 2027 — Las Vegas, USA (Mandalay Bay)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $1,250–$4,995 — Tiered by attendee type. Retailers and consumer brands can qualify for a free hosted all-access ticket.
- **Attendance:** 10,000+
- **Best for:** eCommerce marketers, retail media buyers, and DTC brand leaders
- **Official site:** https://spring.shoptalk.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Shoptalk is where the ecommerce industry gathers. At 10,000+ attendees it is massive, and the content covers the full spectrum: retail media networks, AI-powered commerce, DTC strategy and omnichannel. The pricing structure is the thing to understand before you book - it is tiered by who you are, and retailers and consumer brands can qualify for a free hosted all-access ticket, while solution providers pay at the top of the range. If you are brand-side, always check whether you qualify before paying. Budget $3,000-$5,000 all-in with Las Vegas hotels if you do not.

**What stands out:**
  - Largest ecommerce-dedicated conference (10,000+ attendees)
  - Deep focus on retail media networks and AI in commerce
  - Free hosted all-access tickets for qualifying retailers and brands

#### Shoptalk Europe

The European edition of Shoptalk. Three days in Barcelona covering AI-driven personalisation, retail media, unified commerce, and digital transformation. One in three attendees is C-suite.

- **When:**
  - 1–3 June 2027 — Barcelona, Spain (Fira Barcelona Gran Via)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** €895–€3,850 — Retailers and consumer brands €895 discounted (€1,250 standard); a complimentary hosted ticket includes up to €750 toward travel.
- **Attendance:** 4,500+, one in three C-suite
- **Best for:** European ecommerce leaders, retail media buyers, and digital commerce strategists
- **Official site:** https://europe.shoptalk.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Shoptalk Europe brings the Shoptalk brand to the European market, and Barcelona is a major draw in its own right. The audience skew is exceptionally senior - one in three attendees is C-suite - which means networking has real commercial value. The content covers AI-driven personalisation, retail media networks and unified commerce. The hosted programme is unusually generous: qualifying retailers and brands get a complimentary ticket plus up to EUR 750 toward travel, which can make the whole trip close to free. Barcelona in June is warm but not yet peak summer, with hotels at EUR 150-300/night. Budget EUR 3,000-4,500 all-in if you do not qualify.

**What stands out:**
  - Premier European ecommerce conference (4,500+ attendees, 180+ speakers)
  - One in three attendees is C-suite - an exceptionally senior audience
  - Complimentary hosted programme includes up to EUR 750 toward travel

#### NRF Retail's Big Show

The largest retail conference in the world, with 41,000+ attendees. Covers omnichannel marketing, digital commerce, retail media, and emerging tech. Now runs Europe and APAC editions too.

- **When:**
  - 10–12 January 2027 — New York, USA (Jacob K. Javits Convention Center)
  - Retail's Big Show Europe: 15–17 September 2026 — Paris, France (Paris Expo Porte de Versailles)
  - Retail's Big Show APAC: 1–3 June 2027 — Singapore, Singapore (Marina Bay Sands)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Free–$3,800 — Priced by member status and by whether you are a retailer — retailer members can attend the expo free, while non-member solution providers pay at the top of the range.
- **Attendance:** 41,000+
- **Best for:** Retail executives, omnichannel marketers, and retail tech decision-makers
- **Official site:** https://nrfbigshow.nrf.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** NRF Big Show kicks off the retail calendar each January and sets the agenda for the year. At 41,000+ attendees it is the largest retail gathering globally, and for ecommerce marketers the retail media and digital commerce sessions are essential. The expo floor alone justifies the trip for anyone evaluating retail technology. Pricing swings enormously depending on NRF membership and whether you are a retailer - retailer members can get onto the expo floor free, while non-member solution providers pay at the very top of the range, so establish which bucket you are in first. New York in January means cold weather but hotel rates well below peak season. Europe and APAC editions now run in Paris and Singapore.

**What stands out:**
  - World's largest retail conference (41,000+ attendees)
  - Massive expo floor for evaluating retail and commerce technology
  - Now runs Paris and Singapore editions alongside New York

#### eTail West

Practical ecommerce solutions covering AI, digital marketing, and CX, with speakers drawn from major retail brands rather than vendors. Held at a desert resort in Palm Desert, California.

- **When:**
  - 22–25 February 2027 — Palm Desert, USA (JW Marriott Palm Desert Resort & Spa)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $599–$4,499 — Retailers and brands pay $599.50 for a four-day pass on the early rate ($1,199 standard); solution providers pay substantially more.
- **Attendance:** ~2,500 anticipated
- **Best for:** eCommerce directors and digital marketing leaders at mid-to-large retailers
- **Official site:** https://etailwest.wbresearch.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** eTail West differentiates with its retailer and brand pricing - if you qualify, it is one of the best-value events on this list, with four-day passes at roughly half the standard rate and complimentary passes for some attendees. The desert resort setting creates a more intimate atmosphere than Vegas-based events. Speakers come from actual retailers rather than vendors, so the content is practitioner-driven. Note the venue if you attended in past years: the event is at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert, not Palm Springs. Solution providers pay several times the retailer rate, so check which category you fall into before budgeting.

**What stands out:**
  - Retailer and brand passes are heavily discounted, often complimentary
  - Speakers come from actual retailers, not just vendors
  - Palm Desert resort setting for focused networking

#### Shoptalk Fall

The autumn US edition of Shoptalk, in Nashville. Same hosted-buyer model as the spring flagship, at a smaller and more meeting-focused scale.

- **When:**
  - 29 September – 1 October 2026 — Nashville, USA (Music City Center)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Free–$3,995 — Qualified retailers and consumer brands attend free with up to $1,000 travel reimbursement; solution providers pay up to $3,995.
- **Attendance:** 3,500+ projected, one in three C-suite
- **Best for:** Retail and ecommerce leaders who need a second-half-of-year commerce event
- **Official site:** https://fall.shoptalk.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** The commerce coverage on this list is otherwise entirely front-loaded into Q1 and Q2 - Shoptalk spring, Shoptalk Europe, NRF and eTail West. Shoptalk Fall is the only major retail and ecommerce event in the back half of the year, which matters if your planning cycle does not align with January. The model is the same as the spring flagship: qualified retailers and consumer brands attend free with up to $1,000 of travel reimbursed, while solution providers pay. It is smaller and more meeting-led than Las Vegas, which some people prefer. Nashville is also considerably cheaper than Vegas in late September.

**What stands out:**
  - Free hosted tickets for qualified retailers and brands, plus travel reimbursement
  - Meeting-led format - 20,000+ scheduled meetings
  - The only major autumn retail event on this list

#### Klaviyo:BOS

Klaviyo's annual Boston conference for ecommerce and retention marketers, in its fourth year. Notably cheap for a serious two-day event.

- **When:**
  - 9–10 September 2026 — Boston, USA (Hynes Convention Center)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $499–$599 — Published tier schedule with dated windows; earlier tiers sell out well ahead.
- **Attendance:** 4th annual Boston edition
- **Best for:** Ecommerce and lifecycle marketers, especially Klaviyo users
- **Official site:** https://experiences.klaviyo.com/kbos2026
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** K:BOS sits in a price band nothing else here occupies - a few hundred dollars for two days, against the $2,000-$4,000 that dominates this list. That alone makes it worth knowing about for teams whose conference budget would otherwise buy one ticket to one event. It is a vendor conference run by Klaviyo, so the retention and lifecycle content is naturally oriented around their platform, but the brand-side speakers come from recognisable DTC companies and the ecommerce fundamentals travel. Tiers sell out in sequence with published dates, so the cheap rates genuinely do disappear - book against the calendar.

**What stands out:**
  - By far the cheapest serious paid event on this list
  - Fourth consecutive Boston edition from a public company
  - Fully transparent tier schedule with published dates

#### CommerceNext Growth Show

A retail and ecommerce conference aimed specifically at marketers rather than merchandisers or supply chain. Roughly a decade of editions, now backed by CloserStill Media.

- **When:**
  - 8–9 June 2027 — New York, USA (North Javits)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Free–$4,495 — Free for qualified retailers and brands (standard rate $2,495) plus up to a $2,000 travel credit; vendor passes to $4,495.
- **Attendance:** 2,500+ decision-makers, 150+ speakers
- **Best for:** Ecommerce and retail marketing leaders - CMOs, VPs of Growth and Ecommerce
- **Official site:** https://growthshow.commercenext.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** CommerceNext is the only retail and ecommerce event here aimed squarely at marketers - CMOs, VPs of Growth, VPs of Ecommerce - rather than merchandisers, operations or supply chain. That focus shows in the agenda: customer acquisition, retention, retail media and creative, rather than logistics. It has run for roughly a decade and is now backed by CloserStill Media, so the operator is substantial. The economics are exceptional if you qualify: retailers and brands attend free against a $2,495 standard rate, with up to a $2,000 travel credit on top. It also anchors mid-2027 on a calendar that is otherwise thin for commerce.

**What stands out:**
  - The one commerce event on this list aimed squarely at marketers
  - Free for qualified retailers and brands, plus up to a $2,000 travel credit
  - 2,500+ decision-makers and 150+ speakers

#### K5 Konferenz

The leading ecommerce and digital retail leadership conference in the German-speaking market, at the Estrel Berlin. 5,000 attendees, 250+ speakers, and 70 masterclasses.

- **When:**
  - 22–23 June 2027 — Berlin, Germany (Estrel Berlin)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** From €249 — From €249 for startup retailer/brand passes. The live rate card carries internally inconsistent tiers — confirm before booking.
- **Attendance:** 5,000 attendees, 250+ speakers
- **Best for:** DACH ecommerce and D2C leaders
- **Official site:** https://konferenz.k5.de/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** The commerce coverage on this list is Shoptalk, Shoptalk Europe, NRF and eTail West - all Anglo-American. K5 is where DACH retail and D2C budget owners actually go, and at 5,000 attendees with 250+ speakers it is a genuinely large event rather than a regional also-ran. The 70 masterclasses make it more practical than a pure keynote conference. One warning worth heeding: the live ticket page carries several mutually inconsistent pricing modules, so confirm your tier directly with the organiser before committing budget rather than relying on what the site displays.

**What stands out:**
  - 5,000 attendees and 250+ speakers - DACH commerce at scale
  - 70 masterclasses alongside the main programme
  - Startup and retailer tiers start well below the headline price

### Performance Marketing

#### LeadsCon

The leading event for performance marketing and lead generation. Covers lead gen tactics, compliance and data protection, conversion optimisation, and emerging technologies.

- **When:**
  - 5–7 April 2027 — Las Vegas, USA (MGM Grand)
  - Lead-to-Customer Conference, sister event: 12–13 October 2026 — Nashville, USA
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** Not published — No rate card published for the 2027 edition; registration is by enquiry.
- **Attendance:** ~3,000
- **Best for:** Performance marketers, lead gen specialists, and demand gen teams
- **Official site:** https://www.leadscon.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** LeadsCon is the only major conference focused specifically on lead generation and performance marketing. The content covers both the creative side - landing pages, offers, funnels - and the compliance side, including data protection, TCPA and consent management, which is genuinely hard to find elsewhere. The buyer-seller networking format lets you evaluate lead sources efficiently in one place. The 2027 rate card was not published as of August 2026; registration runs through direct enquiry. The team also runs a smaller Lead-to-Customer Conference in Nashville each autumn.

**What stands out:**
  - The definitive lead generation conference (~3,000 attendees)
  - Strong compliance and data protection content
  - Connects lead buyers and sellers in one venue

#### Affiliate Summit West

The premier affiliate and performance marketing conference, having absorbed much of the audience from the discontinued Traffic & Conversion Summit. The West edition in Las Vegas is the flagship.

- **When:**
  - 26–28 January 2027 — Las Vegas, USA (Caesars Forum)
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** $399–$2,159 — Three paid tiers, each discounted against a full price; the current discount expires 11 September 2026.
- **Attendance:** 7,000+
- **Best for:** Affiliate marketers, performance marketing managers, and partnership leaders
- **Official site:** https://www.affiliatesummit.com/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** Affiliate Summit is the anchor event for the affiliate and partnership marketing industry. With Traffic & Conversion Summit discontinued, it has absorbed much of that audience and content, making it more comprehensive than it used to be. The pricing spread is wide - the entry tier is genuinely cheap for a major US conference, while the top tier buys networking access - and the current discount window has a published expiry, so book against that date rather than assuming rates hold. The expo floor is where the real business happens: affiliates meeting advertisers and networks.

**What stands out:**
  - Premier affiliate marketing event (7,000+ attendees)
  - Absorbed content and audience from the cancelled Traffic & Conversion Summit
  - Entry-level passes are among the cheapest of any major US event

#### PI LIVE Europe

Europe's largest affiliate and partnership marketing event, run in London since 2015 by Hello Partner, the trade publisher for the industry. Multi-venue campus format.

- **When:**
  - 19–21 October 2026 — London, UK
- **Format:** in-person
- **Ticket price:** £695–£2,199 — Excludes 20% VAT. Retailer, agency and publisher standard £695 early bird rising to £1,395; VIP tiers above.
- **Attendance:** ~3,000
- **Best for:** Affiliate and partnership marketing leads working in Europe
- **Official site:** https://performancein.live/europe/
- **Dates and prices last checked:** 2026-08-03

**Why attend:** This list carries Affiliate Summit for the US but had no European affiliate or partnership event at all, and PI LIVE is the obvious fix - the largest event of its kind in Europe and the only one where an EU-side partnerships budget owner will find their whole network in one place. It is run by Hello Partner, the trade publisher that covers the industry, which means the agenda is editorially informed rather than sold. The multi-venue campus format spreads it across London, so check the logistics before booking a hotel. Prices exclude 20% VAT, which is easy to forget when comparing against US events.

**What stands out:**
  - The European counterpart to Affiliate Summit
  - Annual since 2015, run by the industry's own trade publisher
  - ~3,000 attendees across a multi-venue London campus

## What a conference actually costs

The ticket is rarely more than a third of the real cost. A working model for a single attendee:

| Line item | US domestic | Intercontinental |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Ticket | Face value above | Face value above |
| Flights | $200–$800 | $700–$2,000 |
| Hotel | $150–$500/night x 2–4 nights | $200–$600/night x 3–5 nights |
| Meals and ground transport | $50–$150/day | $80–$200/day |
| Optional workshops / VIP tiers | $0–$1,500 | $0–$2,000 |

Two adjustments that catch teams out: host-city hotel rates spike two to four times their baseline
during the larger festivals, and per-person cost drops sharply for a team of three or more because
most organisers discount groups 10–30%.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much should I budget for a marketing conference?

Budget beyond the ticket. A typical US marketing conference costs $2,500-$5,000 all-in once you include: (1) Ticket: $500-$3,000 depending on the event, (2) Flights: $200-$800 depending on distance, (3) Hotel: $150-$500/night x 2-4 nights, (4) Meals and ground transport: $50-$150/day, (5) Optional workshops or VIP tiers. For intercontinental events like Cannes Lions or DMEXCO, budget $6,000-$12,000 all-in. Two things catch teams out: host-city hotel rates commonly double or triple during the larger festivals, and most organisers discount groups of three or more by 10-30%, so the per-person cost drops sharply for a team.

### Which marketing conference should I attend if I can only pick one?

It depends on your role. For generalists, UNBOUND offers the best breadth at a reasonable price. For SEO, brightonSEO gives you the most depth per pound and runs on both sides of the Atlantic. For B2B marketers, MarketingProfs B2B Forum balances strategy and tactics. For brand and creative leaders, Cannes Lions remains the industry benchmark. For ecommerce, Shoptalk covers the full landscape in one week. For CMOs specifically, ANA Masters of Marketing is the one event where you will be surrounded by peers at your level - and it is free if your company is an ANA member. If budget is the constraint, start with the free events: The MarTech Conference, Google Marketing Live, Litmus Live and SMX Next cost nothing and are genuinely useful.

### Are virtual marketing conferences worth attending?

Yes, and the free ones are the best value in marketing education. (1) Google Marketing Live is effectively mandatory if you spend on Google Ads - the product announcements change your campaigns directly. (2) The MarTech Conference runs twice a year, costs nothing, and is vendor-neutral on stack strategy. (3) Litmus Live is free and practical on email. (4) SMX Next is a free online search-marketing day. The networking is weaker than in-person, but at zero cost and zero travel they are an easy addition to any conference calendar.

### When should I register for marketing conferences to get the best price?

Most conferences discount 20-40% for booking three to six months ahead, and super early bird pricing typically opens six to nine months out. Group rates for three or more save another 10-30%. Watch for tier deadlines rather than vague "early bird" language - Affiliate Summit, B2BMX and Forrester all publish the exact date each tier expires, so the saving is easy to plan around. Many events also announce next year's dates at the current year's edition with the deepest discount of the cycle for returning attendees.

### How do I convince my boss to approve a conference budget?

Frame it as an investment with a deliverable attached. (1) Knowledge transfer - one tactic that improves campaign performance by even 5% can cover the whole trip. (2) Vendor evaluation - comparing ten tools on an expo floor in two days beats ten separate demo calls. (3) Recruiting and retention - conferences help with hiring and keep good people engaged. (4) Competitive intelligence - what other companies are actually doing is hard to get from blog posts. Commit to a specific post-conference output: a strategy recommendation, a vendor shortlist, or an internal training session. That converts a cost line into a project with an owner.

### What are the best free marketing conferences?

Several genuinely good events cost nothing: (1) The MarTech Conference - vendor-neutral martech strategy, twice a year, entirely free. (2) Google Marketing Live - Google's annual ads showcase, essential for PPC teams. (3) Litmus Live - free and virtual since its format change, focused on email. (4) SMX Next - a free online search-marketing day each November. (5) Adobe Summit Online - the virtual stream of Adobe Summit is free. Beyond fully free events, several premium conferences are free for the right attendee: ANA Masters of Marketing costs nothing for client-side ANA members, Shoptalk and eTail offer complimentary hosted passes to qualifying retailers and brands, and NRF lets retailer members onto the expo floor free.

### Which conferences are best for networking versus learning?

For networking, smaller and more curated wins: Wynter Spryng (~500 attendees), Ahrefs Evolve (600 with a deliberate small-group format) and B2BMX (a resort setting that keeps people together) are built for real conversations. MAD//Fest is invite-only precisely to control the room. For learning, look for curated single-track events like the MozCon Roadshow, or specialist events like MAICON where every session is on one subject. The mega-events - Dreamforce, SXSW, NRF at 41,000+ - offer networking at scale but need a plan, or you will spend three days walking between halls.

### Which marketing conferences are worth it for AI specifically?

AI is now a track at almost every event, but a few are built around it. MAICON in Cleveland is 100% AI in marketing and the longest-running of its kind. Adobe Summit and Dreamforce are where the two biggest marketing clouds ship their AI roadmaps, so they matter if you run either stack. Social Media Marketing World now co-locates AI Business World and includes it with a ticket. Google Marketing Live is where Google's AI ad products get announced, and it is free. If you want AI strategy rather than vendor roadmaps, MAICON and The MarTech Conference are the two to start with.
